Notes on Memory

i think with our digital memories it's harder than ever to recognize our own age. we revisit and reincorporate our pasts into ourselves over and over again obsessively, all in hopes of living just another yesterday. to reconcile with past trauma or feel moments of bliss again, our journeys fundamentally yield an alternative self image than our parents. we are much more aware of our collective narrative in life, avoidance is more difficult so long as we keep digital records of our lives.
