About / Mission
Mapping the territory between human physiology and power structures.
This is the working atlas of a human systems cartographer. The practice has a single through-line, and the whole atlas is built around it:
Five strata, one chain. Dispositions seeded in physiology harden into temperament; temperament expresses as behavior; behavior aggregates into policy; and policy, repeated and enforced, sets into power structures — which bend back down to shape the physiology of the next person born under them.
The headline names the two endpoints — physiology and power structures — because the wager of this work is that they are one territory, not two. Most of the mapping, though, happens in the legible middle, where the chain can actually be measured and moved: temperament, where physiology sets into character, and policy, where behavior becomes binding on others — close enough to the body to stay honest, close enough to the institution to matter.
Method
The mapping is done in whatever register the territory demands — mathematics where a model earns its place, clinical observation where the body has the last word, and writing and image where a number won't carry the meaning. Those registers surface here as seven territories: models (the apex), fieldwork, research, a lexicon of coined terms and schematics, marginalia, moments, and a register of influences. The links between them are the point — nothing here is meant to stand alone.
