Marginalia·
Perpetual Drift
can we overcome our pasts and write stories untold, see the world in its vastness and diversity, break the chains for better or worse, unburdened by fear in perpetual drift?
can we stop for shade when it feels right, forfeit the guilt of transferred obligations, visceral in our wants, deliberate in our choices, content in our failures?
can we let moments be moments, abandon anxious dependence and perceived need, reverent to time as luck, memories cherished and stories told, forever a sense impaired?
can we die with a smile when it's all said and done, gifted with perspective, rich in experience, jovial in our ignorance, eager to feed the worms?
