Stopped not by any real enemy but by the dark itself — the threat that is internal and formless.
To be stopped not by any real enemy but by the dark as such — the unlit interior one will not enter. The threat is internal, formless, the mind's own shadow rather than anything in the room. Where its opposite dreads what waits outside, this dreads what is within.
